Contraception IS sexual atheism. With reference to the Abrahamic tradition (with which I am
exclusively concerned), Biblically speaking, God revealed Himself first As Creator of everything &
second as Pro-Creator, or Womb-Opener, collaborating with His creation in the ongoing work of
"The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve" - Psalm 29:9
"And Jacob's anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God's stead, who
hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?" - Genesis 30:2
"And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten
a man from the LORD." - Genesis 4:1
So far from de-emphasizing the pro-creative work of God in the Abrahamic tradition of the
Scriptures, the Christian tradition underscored, re-emphasized and sanctified, arguably to the
status of sacrament (within marriage), the work of God in joining human sperm with human egg.
But even without marriage, and even in the worst case scenario (rape, incest); paleo-Christian
teaching dogmatically affirmed, without hesitation, the Creator's ongoing collaboration in the
creation of all human beings, as the Divine human-herd manager, despite the worst circumstances.
The Areopagus in Athens was mythically the location of the war-crimes trial of Ares (Latin Mars)
the god of War, where he was brought to task by the other gods for his crimes against humanity.
How fitting that Mars Hill should serve as the platform for the paradigm-shift in Paul's ministry,
from Jew to Gentile, and the clearest-yet proclamation of an end to the war and abolition of
enmity (cf. Ephesians 2:15) between the chosen race and all other races of mankind. Ascending the
steps of Mars' Hill, Paul proclaimed that he was announcing the Unknown God, who:
"...hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and
hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; that they
should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far
from every one of us: for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of
your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring." -Acts 17
The Athenians understood what Paul meant. Paul was claiming that each and every human on earth
was, in terms of conception, a special product of Divine choice. No one was an accident, no one
had being, outside the context of Divine purpose & foreordination.
In later years, Paul went on to clarify to the Ephesian church that it was the special calling of
Christian husband and wife to demonstrate to the unbelieving world the "one-flesh" union between
Christ and the Church. Christ and the Church were neither brother and sister nor father and
daughter; instead the sexual and spiritual union between husband and wife was to be a living
exegesis of Jesus' love for his people.
But twenty centuries later, in Western culture, the salt had lost its savour & a new generation of
contraceiving "Christian marriages" emerged. God was no longer the Womb-Opener, they
contended, but had delegated to them the decision, as married people, when and whether to have
children and how many. Just when He had done so was never squarely addressed, except with
offhanded reference to Matheusian philosophy and overpopulation false-prophesies that were as
harebrained, malleable and inevitably as phony as similar attempts to predict the Second Coming.
This new "Christ" was ready to bless 20th century Christians with worldly goods and Mammon,
but no longer demanded an active role in the conception of human beings. The new Jesus
authorized his men to enjoy the pleasure of orgasms while throwing their seed away in the trash,
poisoning their seed, poisoning their wives' bodies with chemicals, and mutilating their
reproductive organs to avoid children and still enjoy the all-important sexual orgasm.
It was at this point that marriages in the USA, as a rule, became little more than
government-regulated prostution. Even as she began to try on her new-found "liberation"(i.e.
demographic suicide), the devaluing of the Western woman had begun, and the Pussy Bubble
began to inflate.
Through Isaiah, and again through Jesus Christ (cf. Is.5, Mk.11, Jn.15), God had warned His
people of the consequences of willful fruitlessness with reference to His SEED (St. Paul used the
word "sperma") which is the gift of faith (cf. Romans 4:13-18). So when American Christians
began modeling spiritual fruitlessness through willful physical fruitlessness in marriage, and
teaching the unbelieving world to do so...they were begging Jesus, the REAL Jesus that Paul
knew, to make good on His word of warning.
